Straw yellow with elegant green-silver tints. The nose is very delicate, dominated by lime and grapefruit. The attack shows the same flavours, along with great body and balance. This dry Riesling is full and refreshing with a long aftertaste typical of wines from limestone soils.
Deep straw yellow. Notes of rose, candied flowers and peel, honey, apricot and cherry-plum jam, roasted hazelnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg and light hints of tar. The palate is smooth and oily, spicy with notes of dried apricots, roasted peach, honey and candied
A deep and expressive nose filled with fresh and complex citrus aromas. It has surprisingly rich and fat palate with great structure and a wonderfully dry, long finish. This will go well with seafood, fish, white meats, trout, chicken and white wine sauce and cheese.
Full, balanced and very aromatic. Depending on the vintage, the principal aromas of Gewurztraminer are lychee, rose, ginger and geranium. The Trimbach Gewurztraminer is dry and shows classic restraint, without any loss of the Gewurztraminer's exotic and spicy feature.
With its years of bottle age, this wine has taken on a medium gold colour in the glass and the nose shows complex development as the primary lychee fruit segues into beeswax and camomile. In the palate there are lush lemons and mouthfilling grapiness, tropical fruit and a hint of smoke.
One of the noblest of the Alsace grapes, Pinot Gris produces a full, heady, rich and lush wine in Trimbach's hands. It is technically dry, but the style is so fruity and full, with such a long palate that the illusion of sweetness is maintained. Watch out too for a smokiness on the finish. Its great depth is balanced by a crisp acidity that gives structure and longevity.
Toasted nuts, marzipan and salinity underscore the peach and apple fruit here. A hint of honey adds nobility and relatively high acidity adds primary juiciness in the long, fascinatingly smoky, nutty, and mineral finish
Elegant and classic with grapefruit and white peach on the nose fully integrated into a food-friendly structure. The drivers are minerality and a crisp lemony acid backbone leading in to a long finish.
