Exel Wines Takes on New Agencies

Exciting news within Exel Wines, as we prepare to take on a few new vineyards to promote within the UK. As Always this features some well known names and some that we are sure that you will grow to love.

The Big Name - Mas Daumas Gassac.
Located in the South Of France Mas Daumas Gassac has established something of a Cult following in recent years since owner Samuel Guibert took over.

Whilst we do stock and always will stock the main prestigeous Brand of Mas Daumas Gassac it is the entry level wines of Moulin de Gassac that we are really excited about. They epitomize everything that we stand for when we talk about a great Quality:Value ratio, Samuel brings such knowledge and passion to these wines at an unbelievable price.
Exel Wines is very proud to be the exclusive agent for these wines in Scotland and the UK's largest importer.

The One you will grow to Love - Trapezio.
Due to land in the UK by the end of July, Trapezio is one of the most exciting things to come out of Argentina that we have found in many years. When I say we have found, to be honest this was one of those happy accidents when vineyard found supplier. As an importer we get offers from vineyards most days about their wines they can offer, when the guys at Trapezio got in touch we immediately had a good feeling.

The first tasting lived up to expectations, with the ++ Tinto wines really standing out. They are a vineyard that produce what conditions dictate so it can make some big differences from vintage to vintage. It will be interesting to see what the next few years bring for this Vineyard.
