Arneis

Arneis (also known as Bianchetta, Bianchetta d'Alba, Bianchetto, Bianchetto di Verzuolo, and Nebbiollo Bianco) is a white Italian wine grape variety originating from the Piedmont, Italy. The Arneis vine can be difficult to cultivate with naturally low acidity and a tendency to over ripen if harvested after September. The vine also has a tendency to produce low crop yields and for its wines to oxidise easily. However, Arneis has the potential to produce some highly perfumed wines.
