Cornwall
Situated in the south west, this region’s vineyards are in the main based around the Camel Valley. The south facing slopes of the valley are perfect for growing vines which allow the grapes to take full advantage of any sunlight during the UK winegrowing season. The main varieties grown in this region are Seyval, Reichensteiner, Bacchus, Triomphe and Pinot Noir. In the UK it is expected that all wines produced are white however, in Cornwall a number of red wines as well as white and sparkling wines are produced.
