Petit Manseng

Petit Manseng (also known as Escriberou, Ichiriota Zuria Tipia, Mansein, Mansein Blanc, Manseing, Mansenc Blanc, Mansenc Grisroux, Manseng Blanc, Manseng Petit Blanc, Mansengou, Mansic, Mansin, Mausec, Mausenc Blanc, Miot, Petit Mansenc and Petit Manseng Blanc) is a white wine grape that is primarily grown in the south of France. It produces small, thick skinned berries. This variety is a late harvester, usually waiting until the beginning of December, as the raisin-like grapes will produce a concentrated, fruity, delicate sweet wine. Although this grape is primarily grown in France, there has been interest from other countries, such as California and Australia.
