Benoît Courault has a small 5-acre vineyard in the heart of Anjou that. The grapes for this wine, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau, were hand harvested, destemmed and fermented in concrete tanks. The resulting wine has charming fresh red cherry and floral notes with good acidity and fine tannins.
An elegant fruity but not insubstantial Pinot with juicy red fruits complemented by subtle spicy vanilla hints. Delicious when chilled slightly.
