Only a handful of American oak, ex-bourbon casks laid down in 2005 were selected by Distillery Manager John MacDonald to form this classic Balblair expression. Light, fruity and refreshing, this classic Vintage embodies Balblair's house style. Full bodied with the classic aromas of fresh green apples, ground spices and honey. The American oak ex-bourbon barrels used in maturation impart notes of oaky vanilla, leather and oranges with a hint of fragrant cut flowers and smoke. The palate offers Balblair’s signature style of citrus orchards is followed by intense sweetness of toffee and vanilla. It is rounded off by a deliciously spicy, long finish. The superb dram is bright and full of character, a ray of sunshine in a bottle.

Bowmore 9 Year Old is a new addition to Bowmore's range. This whisky has been matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, resulting in a rich yet smoky whisky with flavours of cocoa, dark fruits and caramel.
Bruadar is the Scottish Gaelic word for "a dream". Bruadar is a perfect marriage of single malt Scotch whisky and honey, balanced with just the right amount of sloes. At 22% there's still a warm aftertaste of single malt whisky, but the sharp edges have been smoothed over by the addition of honey. This taste sensation is rounded off by a welcome finale of sloes; to make Bruadar a liqueur of exceptionally attractive flavours.
This spirit was distilled in December 2005 using malt peated to a colossal 167ppm. Filled into Fresh Bourbon and Grenache Blanc casks, it spent the next decade slumbering in P2, the ancient stone warehouse in the village of Port Charlotte, close to the western shore of Loch Indaal.In this second edition of ten year old, the unique texture of Octomore is lifted further by the smooth, sweet fruit of Grenache and engages perfectly with the phenolic depth. Just 18,000 bottles exist, presented at 57.3% alc.vol. with a splash of Islay spring water. 18,000 individually numbered bottles only.
