Torrontés has a unique expression in Argentina and has often been called the country’s signature white varietal. Alamos Torrontés 2015 captures all of the explosive aromatic character of this Argentine grape, with lively notes of citrus and peach fruit interwoven with delicate layers of jasmine blossom and fresh herbs. Light and fresh on the palate, it finishes long and lingering with fresh, balanced acidity.
The Adrianna vineyard is located at almost 5,000’ elevation in the Gualtallary sub-district of the Tupungato region. White Bones Chardonnay comes from select rows within Block 1 of the Adrianna Vineyard. The name refers to the soil underneath these rows, which is layered with calcareous deposits and limestone as well as fossilized animal bones - remnants of a river that used to pass through the region.
This wine is remarkable from start to finish, beginning with an aromatic and complex nose of pear, apricot, almond and lemon cream. Subtle hints of white flowers and warm, smoky notes follow. The palate is full and concentrated, with citrus, honey, vanilla, nutmeg and toast.
The high-altitude and cool climate of the vineyards gives this wine a crisp, elegant style. Apple, melon and nutty peach fruit with a soft, creamy texture - all wrapped up in some tightly wound citrusy acidity.
Bright gold in colour with yellow tints at the rim. Intense floral notes mix with citrus and grapefruit on the nose with a touch of spice. On the palate it is fresh and rounded with medium body and tropical fruit flavours. It has a long, elegant, fruity finish.
An elegant wine, lemon in colour with slight greenish tones. It has notes of green apples, pear, citrus fruits and hints of nuts & broiche. Delicate on the palate with marked minerality and a long, delicious finish.
Attractive straw colour with green flecks. On the nose, it has a vibrant citrus nose followed by hints of grass and a touch of tropical fruit. On the palate it has a refreshing taste again with citrus fruit and a hint of ripe stone/tropical fruit.
This Torrontés has a brilliant lemon-green colour with golden tones. The instensely aromatic nose is full of fresh peaches and orange peel, accompanied by the floral notes that are very characteristic of this variety. The fruity notes reappear on the fresh palate with balanced acidity.
An award winning wine at Decanter 2010. This sauvignon blanc has a pale lemon hue with refreshing citrus, stone fruit and grassy aromas on the nose and a mouthwatering peach, lemon and goosberry flavour in the mouth.
Santa Ana Viognier Reserve has a bright golden colour with green hues. Aromas of stone fruits with an alluring complexity of toasted bread and vanilla notes. Rich and full palate with a hint of sweetness balanced by a racy acidity on the finish.
