Domaine La Garrigue wines are made using sustainable viticulture. The grapes are always hand picked. Whole grapes are fermented in epoxy-resin-lined-cement vats using cultured yeasts, Malolactic fermentation is allowed to occur before the wine undergoes traditional vinification.
The wine is garnet red colour with brilliant terracotta highlights. The aromas are intense and powerful with a mix of morello cherry and spice aromas. The palate is complex and intense, with rounded tannins, a structured body, good intensity and good length.
This wine goes well with cheeses, rib of beef, Game, pheasant and all other red meats.
