Domaine La Garrigue use sustainable viticulture to produce their wines. The grapes are hand picked, then whole grapes are fermented in epoxy-resin-lined-cement vats as well as undergoing pressing. Cultured yeast is used and vinification is always carried out in a traditional way.
This wine is cherry-red in colour, with garnet red highlights. Its aromas are expressive yet subtle. On the palate it is fine, delicate, smooth and has red fruit hints as well as fine, silky tannins, a round, structured body, good intensity and good length.
It will complement a number of dishes including red meats, cheeses, rib of beef, white meats and game.
