Cave De Hunawihr Gewürztraminer Reserve 2016 (1x75cl)

A beautiful and bright yellow with deep gold tint. The nose has complex flavours of fresh almond and rose, opening up to a nice touch of crystallized fruits and fresh grape. A deep and generous palate, with the elegant aromas of the nose. The balance is well set by the freshness and the sweetness is not dominant. A nice, delicate medium dry wine with a long and spicy aftertaste dominated by hints of pepper and rose.

Ch Du Coing De St Fiacre Muscadet Sevre Et Maine Sur Lie 2015 (1x 75cl)

A delicate, pale lemon colour with light floral aromas of jasmine, pear and lightly toasted bread. The palate is juicy with pure, citrus fruit character and a long, fine-textured finish.

£9.95

Chereau Carre Muscadet De Sevre et Maine Sur Lie Chateau De Chasseloir 2014 (1x 75cl)

“Sur Lie” means the wine was matured on its lees until bottling, giving it an attractive “prickle” on the palate and nice weight. Clean tasting with crisp acidity and a bright, fresh minerality.

Domaine Bonnard Pouilly Fume 2015 (1x 75cl)

We are delighted to have secured a parcel of this gem of a Pouilly Fume. Lots of fresh, herbaceous fruit with a hint of liquorice on the nose. In the mouth, there are delicious Sauvignon Blanc characteristics with citrus and gooseberry flavours.

Domaine De Vauroux Chablis 2014 (1x 75cl)

Aromatic with clean mineral notes and hints of citrus. The palate is medium bodied with crisp, appley acidity, tight, pure fruit flavours of white peach and pears finished with a classic, steely, dry finish. Stylish.

Domaine Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru `La Garenne` 2013 (1x 75cl)

Pale lemon in with stony minerality coming through before flavours of granny smith apples. The mouthwatering acidity leads to a squeaky clean finish.

Domaine Faiveley Rully Blanc Les Villeranges 2014 (1x 75cl)

A brilliant light yellow colour. A blend of mineral flinty aromas and very ripe fruit aromas gives a nice fresh bouquet. This wine is very pleasant on the palate, sophisticated and round at first, with a slightly acid finish which gives a beautiful freshness to the whole.
£16.80

Domaine Fichet Macon Ige 'Chateau London' 2013 (1x75cl)

This wine is the colour of yellow gold or straw-coloured with gently glowing silvery. To the nose, its aromas suggest broom, white roses, acacia, honeysuckle, fern, verbena, lemon-grass, and citrus fruits (grapefruit, mandarin oranges). In the mouth, the finish adds nuances of pine, quince and fennel. This wine is fresh and luscious as well as dry and well-fruited. It has good concentration backed by sufficient acidity to ensure its keeping quality. It is full and smooth in character.
£13.02

Domaine Georges Vernay Condrieu 'Terrasses de L'Empire' 2011 (1x 75cl)

Lovely lychees and peach aromas sustained by the full and creamy palate. Pure Viognier expression.

Domaine Jean Defaix Chablis 2015 (1x 75cl)

Daniel Dampt is one of Burgundy’s most celebrated winemarkers, and he produces wines under both his own name and that of Jean Defaix, his father-in-law. This Defaix Chablis is clean, ultra-pure with bright steely acidity and not so much as a sniff of oak. This makes it pair perfectly with fish dishes such as sea bass or oysters and it is a superb, classic wine to use as an aperitif. The Chardonnay grapes were hand-selected and bottled on the estate, ensuring that only the best fruit was used to produce the wine, making it a perfect example of the distinctive taste and freshness of Chablis. It’s never cheap, Chablis, but this is both excellent quality and value.

Domaine Laroche Chablis 1er Cru Les Vaudevey 2014 (1x75cl)

Awarded 92 points and Highly Recommended status by Decanter (www.decanter.com) in their June 2017 edition review of Chablis (see blue link below).

Domaine Laroche, Les Vaudevey Premier Cru 2014 - June2017 Decanter review

Bright yellow in colour with gold tints. Lively grapefruit aromas on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with crisp acidity and fresh citrus flavours. The finish is long, combining notes of lemon zest and apple with vanilla, as well as stony, mineral complexity.

** Supplies of the 2014 are very limited, not just with us but with/at the UK main importer. We can also supply the same 2014 wine as a magnum, see relevant product page. The 2015 is also fully available as both standard bottle and magnum, and is excellent. **
