In the Victorian age, Campbeltown was known as the Whisky capital of the world. Only three distilleries still produce whisky, one of which is Glen Scotia. John Peterson who has been in the industry for over 40 years, is the mastermind behind the careful development and improvement of Glen Scotia's whiskies. John will continue to develop future expressions of Glen Scotia that will stay true to the roots of the early days of Campbeltown Scotch whisky.
This is an incredibly limited edition bottling by Glen Scotia, made to celebrate the Campbeltown festival of May 2018. It was matured in total for a period of ten years, including six months in ruby port casks. It is a rich and fruity whisky with typical Campbeltown flair.
