Located on the top of the Combiaty hillside, the Château Moulin Favre vineyards have been in the same family for six generations. Their passion for wine growing has been passed from father to son.
Their vines benefit from the use of sustainable agricultural methods. The grapes are all handpicked during a two week period, with around 30 workers picking two acres a day. The entire stalk is taken off to avoid any herbaceous flavours developing in the wine and to create rounded tannins. The grapes are then macerated for 12 – 13 days before soft pressing develops complex aromas, a pleasant colour and smooth tannins. All Moulin Favre's wines are estate bottled.
This is a fruity wine with aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry. It is rich and balanced with well-matured tannins so is perfect for drinking throughout your meal.
