Prophet's Rock Retrospect Pinot Noir 2010 (1x75cl)

Founded in 1999 by Mike and Angela Mulvey, Prophet’s Rock is one of New Zealand’s most exciting producers, creating premium, artisan wines in Central Otago. Committed to showcasing the characteristics of their vineyard sites in the Pisa and Bendigo sub-regions, their vineyard-focused approach combined with minimal intervention in the winery, is creating world class wines of great structure, elegance and complexity, with considerable ageing potential. Taking its name from a prominent local landmark in Central Otago, named after pioneering goldminer ‘Bob Prophet’, the winery is a beacon of quality winemaking in the region thanks to its world renowned winemaker Paul Pujol.

This carefully cellared inaugural reserve wine is only released a minimum of five years after harvest. It represents a tiny selection from the Home Vineyard, grown and made to showcase this unique site with the benefit of time. Home Vineyard is located on a high-elevation, steep glacial terrace in the Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago. This stunning site has clay and pedogenic lime soil, featuring schist and quartz.

Cellaring will reward collectors over the next 10+ years from vintage.
