Deep coloured with a concentrated chocolate and dark plum perfume and a touch of liquorice that gives way to a full-bodied and powerful palate. Dark red fruit dominates the palate with the characteristic tannin of Negroamaro which melts into a long, chocolately finish.

A 'Joven-style' red exhibiting freshness and purity. Berry-bright and fresh with suggestion of cherry blossom, it has gentle fruit jelly glycerol up front, yielding to finely-grained crunchy tannins, with good length and gentle closing acidity.
The Alain Jaume Rasteau "Les Valats" has a deep red garnet colour. The dominant aromas are of fresh red and black fruit. On the palate, the richness of the tannins harmonise with the full yet fleshy character of the wine. The finish has a good gripand it is long with spicy notes, menthol and chocolate nuances.
This wine is made using predominantly Grenache Noir and is finished off with some Syrah and Mourvedre. This wine was fermented and and then aged for 12 - 14 in concrete vats before being bottled.
Made by the Catena family, this is a rich, cassis-laden Cabernet with ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit all over the place. A hint of minty eucalyptus and toasty oak spice add depth and complexity. Smooth tannins and freshness.
