El Circo means 'the circus', and each of the varieties in this range is represented by a different circus performer. The wines are made by the co-operative located in DO Cariñena. A new, modern winery was built in 2002. Winemaker Marcelo Morales Calderon is Chilean, having previously worked for Carmen and Veramonte among others. He came for the 2000 vintage and stayed, as he was excited both by the quality of the fruit and the high standard of the facilities at his disposal.
The soil, where the short bush vines for this Garnacha are grown, is poor. The vines are planted on unirrigated land. The grapes ripen slowly, allowing their full potential to come through.

Ruby red with purple hues, this Garnacha has intense aromas of ripe red fruit such as strawberries and cherries followed by a touch of spice. On the palate, it has smooth, firm tannins with a racy acidity and a very fruity finish.
Spain’s most internationally famous wine region is renowned for creating top quality wines with exceptional ageing ability. It lies in northern Spain, by the side of the River Ebro from which the region’s name derived. Elegance and poise is the hallmark of the wines shaped in this ancient region. The variety of its soils, together with the combination of modern and traditional growing practices allow winemakers to produce a wide range of wines that exhibit different personalities, always within the framework that their long-established Qualified Denominación de Origen demands from them.

Les Celliers de Meknes was founded in 1963 by Brahim Zniber, an influential figure in the revival of Morocco's wine industry. Les Celliers covers nearly 2000 hectares of vineyards divided among four of Morocco's most prestigious designations 2 AOGs Guerrouane & B'ni Mtir and 1 AOC Les Coteaux de L'Atlas with modern winemaking facilities. The Zniber family, vine growers for more than half a century, are pioneers of modern wines in Morocco. Les Celliers de Meknès is a private company responsible for about 20% of Morocco’s wine production.
The finest terroir in Morocco is to be found in the Meknès region, midway between the peaks of the Middle Atlas and the Atlantic coast. This location, where the Beni M'Tir AOG (Appellation d'Origine Garantie) is located, enjoys a relatively balanced climate, sheltered from both the Sahara and the ocean. Even here, August temperatures regularly climb towards 40°C (104°F), and global warming is thought to be responsible for the increasing prevalence of drought in the area.
The climate of the Middle Atlas in the foothills on which their estates are situated, the elevation ranging from 580 to 700 meters, the moderate rainfall and generous sunshine all provide the vineyards with an exceptional site unrivalled in Morocco.

The Les Mougeottes wines are from the region to the east of Carcassonne. Ripe grapes are essential for a good Pinot Noir. The full aromatic potential has already been developed, but the sugar content should be relatively low in order to pre-serve the variety's elegant style. For that, a part of the crop is harvested quite early and ferments at low temperature exalting fruity aromas. The other part, fully ripe, under-goes a traditional, long maceration. About one third ages in French oak barrels for many months, adding complexity to the wine.
100% Pinot Noir.
