Jean Luc is pioneering vineyard development in a beautiful, scenic area just north of Marseille and this wine is close his heart reflecting the style he wants to make from this area. A light, refreshing, dry rosé with abundant yet subtle red fruit characters dominated by powerful aromas, reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrubland (garrigue). On the palate, notes of black olives , herbs and fresh fruit evoke the terroir of the Mediterranean coast. The beautiful and aptly named Blue Coast in a glass.
With an attractive pale pink colour, this is a light and refreshing rosé from the Languedoc region of Southern France. Cinsault lends itself particularly well to the production of rosés, and this dry, unoaked example can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a wide range of Mediterranean dishes.
Combining Garnacha with 10% Viura from high altitude vineyards in the Rioja Baja, its a pale, spicy, aromatic number with notes of redcurrant and white pepper. Ageing in concrete eggs adds extra complexity here.
Intense nose - very fruity, strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, blackberry with rose petals at the end.Smooth and balanced palate, with a textured mouth feel. Long persistence on the finish with notes of cherry in the aftertaste. Delicious!
