The contemporary Lowland single malt. This is a light and subtle whisky from a stylish, contemporary brand with younger adult appeal. Auchentoshan, an extremely versatile single malt, can be enjoyed in many ways. Auchentoshan is also used by many of the World's top chefs in both savoury and sweet dishes. Most importantly, Auchentoshan can be enjoyed on its own straight up or on the rocks. Tasting Note: Triple distilled and matured in American bourbon oak for over eighteen years. The result is a refreshing Lowland single malt whisky with the added infusion of ripe citrus and green tea, the warmth of toasted almonds and the signature smooth, delicate, Auchentoshan taste.
Matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels, its delicate taste of sweet, honeyed fruit and gentle warmth will bewitch you. Not even a hint of smoke. Smooth, easy and an absolute delight. The nose offers aromas of fresh hays of summer, malty cereal, rich creamy toffee and honeyed heather balanced with sweet oak and barley sugar. The palate is smooth creamy sweetness with sumptuous hints of fruit, malty honeyed spiciness and soft vanilla which leads to a crisp and satisfying finish with a tingle of cloves.
A classic Lowland whisky from East Lothian based Glenkinchie. It receives extra ageing in ex-sherry casks which impart nutty and oaky notes into the whisky. It is fresh and delicate whisky with notes of lemon zest, almonds, toasty oak, vanilla and stone fruit with a hint of dried fruits.
For about 12 months, Tullibardine Sovereign has been finished off in Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes Casks, which are 225 litres in size. This creates a wonderful golden whisky with interesting citrus flavour, cereal notes and vanilla. There is a touch of pineapple and orange peel on the finish, which is medium to long.
