If you are looking for a smaller order then the following rates will apply:
Zone 1 (Mainland UK) - £9 + VAT
Zone 2 (Northern Ireland & Islands) - £20.52 + VAT
Collect from Perth shop
For local customers who prefer to order on-line but avoid shipping charges (where applicable), products can be held at our Perth shop for collection. This can be chosen at stage 3 of the checkout process (you currently need to enter a shipping address, which is not used - the website will soon no longer request this).
The actual arrival time from order is determined by the lead time of the items you are purchasing: this is clearly shown on the product page for each individual product.
In order to offer the extensive range that we do, we only hold around 35% of our listed products in stock: these are offered as next-working-day delivery if ordered by noon. Other wines are ordered in to us, in direct response to your order, and the arrival time to us from the importer determines the lead time shown.
All items are processed through our dispatch centre in Perth, Scotland to ensure that your wines are accurately checked and securely packaged. Once your order has been placed, we will be in touch to advise you of the ETA of your order.
Most mainland UK deliveries are made next working day (from dispatch) by Parcelforce (http://www.parcelforce.com). The exceptions to this are Northern Ireland and some parts of the Scottish Highlands & Islands which operate on a 2nd-working day service. Once dispatched, you will be emailed a tracking link so that you know your items are on their way. If multiple orders have been joined together as one, you may receive multiple order confirmations.

International deliveries are now accepted online for all orders. The table below acts as a ready-reckoner for shipping costs to EU and other European nations. The charges shown, country by country, are those for any order up to (and including) 15 standard bottles, ie to a total case maximum weight of 24 kg. We have excellent 15-bottle cases for such orders.
This cost structure entirely reflects the way that we are charged by our international carrier (eg we understand that a 6-bottle case might instinctively attract a cheaper carriage rate, but this is not how we are charged!)
Beyond this weight (eg magnums, particularly heavy bottles) for 15 bottles, extra charges may apply - we will contact you if so.
For orders beyond 15 bottles, a second carton will be required, and the rate shown below is repeated. Clearly, the most cost-efficient rate is achieved for orders that are multiples of 15 bottles.
The prices shown in the table include UK VAT for the shipping, which is payable on all orders. Although UK VAT may be avoidable on the bottles (themselves) chosen for some non-EU orders, the shipping is a UK-based service, and VAT on this service is not avoidable.
A calculator will work out your shipping cost in the basket section of the website as you go through the checkout procedure. This will be in line with the table below, and the stipulations above, giving you a final shipping cost before you are asked to pay. If you find marked differenecs between your calculated shipping cost and the table, please contact us before payment.
Please note that shipping to the USA and Canada is alas not currently available due to increased restrictions put in place in 2013 that have prevented our being able to serve these areas.

Return of Goods/Cancellation
Orders may be cancelled within 30 working days of receipt of goods with a written request to cancel being sent to us within this timeframe. Any cancelled order will be required to be returned to us by an insured and tracked service at your expense. We can happily organise this for you through our courier network and deduct the cost of this from your refund if you prefer. If goods are returned in an unacceptable or 'sold' condition then Exel Wines will take the necessary steps to recover any financial loss to the company. This does not affect your statutory rights. Where the wines have been correctly stored in a cool, dark environment laying flat on their side, a case-by-case assessment will be made for corked wines.
