Here are the thoughts of Meri, Valentina and Alessandra Tessari, the three sisters behind Suavia on this wine: "This is Soave according to Suavia. It is a wine for flowered terraces and summer nights; a wine for bars with umbrellas and tables on the cobbles of an old illuminated square. It is a wine for Easter Mondays in the hills. It is a profoundly Italian wine. Our idea of Soave: fresh fruity, easy to drink but with an unmistakeable character at the same time."
The wines produced at Suavia are aromatic, lively and fresh with a fabulous concentration of flavour. Only the two native varieties of Soave are grown in their vineyards: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave. Trebbiano di Soave is an ancient varietal grown on the local hillside basalt soils. Although small amounts of Trebbiano may typically be included with Garganega to produce Soave Classico, this wine is 100% Garganega.
The Suavia Soave Classico is a straw yellow with golden highlights. The nose shows fresh notes of apple, Kaiser pear and jasmine together with tropical fruit. The palate is smooth and creamy, it offers almod and mineral brightened by crisp acidity.
