The colour of this remarkable wine is intense bright dark cherry with a garnet rim. Its aromas are powerful, of black fruits with toasty notes as well as being spicy, creamy, complex and elegant. The wine has flavours that are both powerful and full of flavour, toasty with round tannins giving a good balance of acidity. The wine also has flavours that are fruity and spicy. It has a good backbone and lingering finish.
Deep red cherry in colour, the nose is crammed with fresh red fruits counter balanced with spicy hints derived from brief ageing in barrel. On the palate there is a wealth of fresh, lively berry fruit flavours leading to a sumptuous yet elegant finish.
To taste this exotic mix of Iberian varieties is to embark upon a tantalizing journey of the senses. The nose exhibits an enticing mix of red, black and purple fruits such as plum, blackcurrant and dark cherry truffle. There is another layer of secondary aromas though, that makes this a seriously complex wine, mushrooms, autumn leaves and earth. A similar theme is found on the palate with flavours of red licorice, spice and peat all evident. The hallmark of this vintage though is a rhubarb, ironstone-like note that adds an incredible core of mineral tannins and bright acidity. The wine is both lively and complex at the same time.
Intense cherry red, this wine has aromas of parma violets and red fruit, vanilla and spice. This is a wine with a concentration of red fruit flavours from the ripe Tempranillo as well as well integrated spice, vanilla and a light toastyness, for a long, elegant finish.
90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha, this wine spends 14 months in oak and 12 months in bottle prior to release. The result is a classy Crianza with Cherries, red berries and vanilla and lucious tannins.
