Chapel Down Bacchus 2015 (12x 75cl)

A great example of a quality English wine white and from a grape variety that is becoming regarded as the still wine varietal of England.

The grapes for this wine were hand harvested and whole bunch pressed, then clean juice was fermented with selected yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel. It was left on its lees for about two months before racking and clarifying.

This wine has intense aromas of grapefruit, gooseberry, freshly cut grass, elderflowers, nettles and passionfruit with a light fresh mouthfeel and refreshingly crisp finish.

New Hall Bacchus 2013 (1x 75cl)

Pale lemon colour with gentle floral notes and a dash of cinnamon. Off dry, with a slight ‘spritz’, and fresh acidity, the palate is perfectly balanced with layers of rounded fruit. There is a depth to the wine and it will drink well for up to three years. Perfect as a refreshing aperitif.
