This wine takes its name from the roads in Mendocino Country that zig zag through the mountains. This is a complex wine with raspberry and cherry chocolate on the nose, the palate has cherries, a prickly white pepper character. This is an elegant Zinfandel with good, refreshing acidity, but with rich tannins.
