Matured in three different types of cask- American bourbon, sherry and virgin oak- this whisky is then married together in a Solera vat which is regularly topped up to ensure consistency of flavour. It has notes of citrus fruit, wood, dried fruit, sweet spice and oxidised, sherry flavours. The finish is long with fruit cake and oaky characters.
