The Arpeggio Cataratto is lightly aromatic and floral in character with delicate flavours of white blossom and peaches. This is perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity. This wine is ideal as an accompaniment to fish, white meats, starters and salads.
Awarded 92 points and Highly Recommended status by Decanter (www.decanter.com) in their June 2017 edition review of Chablis (see blue link below).
Bright yellow in colour with gold tints. Lively grapefruit aromas on the nose. The palate is medium bodied with crisp acidity and fresh citrus flavours. The finish is long, combining notes of lemon zest and apple with vanilla, as well as stony, mineral complexity.
** Supplies of the 2014 are very limited, not just with us but with/at the UK main importer. We can also supply the same 2014 wine as a standard bottle, see relevant product page. The 2015 is also fully available as both standard bottle and magnum, and is excellent. **
Pale gold in colour with intense aromas of ripe white fruits and spring blossom. Ripe fruit flavours are balanced by zesty acidity on the lingering, fruity finish.
This is an alternative style of Sauvignon Blanc that is both intricate and textural. An intriguing fusion of homemade apricot jam and lime marmalade is layered with dried tarragon and a doughy, flinty complexity. The palate is loaded with succulent fruit, pithy citrus rind and laced with minerality - a `wild child` Sauvignon with weight and persistence that finishes with a crisp grapefruit twist.
Typical fruit characters from Hawkes Bay Chardonnay such as grapefruit and melon are supplemented by biscuity characters with a light butteriness. The wine is rich and round, with soft acidity and attractive sweet fruit.
Bright straw in colour with golden reflections, the nose is very elegant with persistent scents of honey and country flowers. Dry, soft and well balanced with a full body.
